• Conditions may be imposed

  Any variance granted shall be subject to such conditions as are necessary so that the adjustment does not constitute a grant of special privileges that is inconsistent with the limitations upon other properties in the vicinity and zone in which the property is situated.

  If an extension is granted, the total time allowed for use of the variance shall not exceed a period of three years, calculated from the effective date of the issuance of the variance.

  A public hearing shall be held on all variance applications in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 17.192.
