Environmental

  • Air and water pollution compliance

    All operations shall be conducted in compliance with the requirements of the Riverside County air pollution control district and the State Water Quality Control Board.

    All equipment and premises employed in conjunction with any of the uses permitted in the M-R zone shall be constructed, operated and maintained so as to suppress noise and vibrations which are or may be injurious to persons living on adjoining property.

    Where practicable, all excavation operations shall be conducted in such a manner as to prevent unnecessary ponding or accumulation of storm or drainage water.

  • Reclamation plan required

    All property partially or totally depleted of its mineral resources as a result of a use permitted by this chapter shall be rehabilitated in accordance with a mining reclamation plan which has been approved pursuant to the provisions of county Ordinance No. 555.
