The total area of all freestanding and projecting signs permitted for any business establishment shall not be greater than 64 square feet and shall be located on the premises. Electronically and manually activated message signs are allowed in NC, CC, GC and Industrial Zones. Animated signs are prohibited except in GC, NC and I Zones.

No such sign shall be located within 300 feet of another such sign situated along the same side of a street, provided that two such signs may be attached back-to-back on the same supporting structure. Not more than one such sign pertaining to the same use and facing the same direction of travel shall be located along a single route.
