Article 7, Division 2 - Floodplain Overlay District, Sec. 23-7.2.28 standards

These provisions shall apply to all privately-owned and publicly-owned lands within the jurisdiction of the County of Spotsylvania and identified as areas of special flood hazard as shown on the flood insurance rate map (FIRM) or included in the flood insurance study (FIS) that are provided to the County by FEMA.

Article 7A, Sec. 23-7A.3.3 and Sec. 23-7A.4.314 standards

All wireless facilities must satisfy the minimum zoning district setback requirements for primary structures. Any wireless facility base station must be enclosed by security fencing not less than six (6) feet in height.

Note 2 (to parking table)1 standards

The shopping center off-street parking requirement set forth in the minimum required parking spaces table above shall be applicable to all uses in a shopping center, except the area occupied by theaters with more than two thousand (2,000) seats. An additional three-tenths (0.3) space shall be provided for each seat above two thousand (2,000) seats.

Note 4 (to parking table)1 standards

The number of spaces required may be reduced by up to fifty (50) percent if the use is located within five hundred (500) feet of any public parking lot or any commercial parking lot where sufficient spaces are available by permission of the owners without charge, during the time of service to make up the additional spaces required.

PDC district provisions (unnumbered)5 standards

Secondary uses shall be permitted only in a PDC district which contains one or more principal uses. The gross floor area devoted to dwellings as a secondary use shall not exceed fifty (50) percent of the gross floor area of all principal uses in the development.

Entertainment which is provided for the enjoyment of the patrons shall be considered accessory to an eating establishment, to include dancing by patrons, provided the space made available for such dancing shall not be more than one-eighth (⅛) of that part of the floor area available for dining.

Family means a group of people living together as a single housekeeping unit consisting of: (1) One (1) or more persons related by blood or marriage ... and no more than two (2) roomers or boarders; or (2) No more than three (3) unrelated persons ...

Sec. 23-2.1.41 standards

Industrial/flex means any structure occupied by two (2) or more of the following uses: ... provided however that the combined area of all office, both as a principal use and as an accessory use, shall not exceed thirty-five (35) percent of the total gross floor area of the structure.
