General provisions

Underground tanks in flood hazard areas shall be anchored to prevent flotation, collapse or lateral movement resulting from hydrodynamic and hydrostatic loads during conditions of the design flood.

Where work for which a permit is required by this article is started or proceeded with prior to obtaining a permit, the fees herein specified shall be doubled.
Building signs shall not extend beyond the edge of the surface to which it is attached (Figure 9), nor shall a building sign disrupt the architectural features of the building (Figure 10).
All signs shall have a setback from the parcel lot lines and public right-of-way equal to the setbacks for the corresponding type of building as detailed in section 34-247.
Significant changes to sign copy (i.e., business name change) must reapply for sign permit and meet current requirements.

In the MHP-1 district the same restrictions apply as for the R-2 district except that a sign should not exceed 11 feet in height.
Properties fronting on County Road 40 and that portion of Inglis Avenue lying between Levy County Road 40 and U.S. Highway 19, and fronting Hammock Road designated as commercial (C-1, C-2, I, P1, T and U zoning districts.)
