All parking areas consisting of four or more spaces shall be surfaced.

The following design requirements and minimum improvements shall be provided for all off-street parking areas consisting of four or more parking spaces.

Each parking space shall be not less than 9 feet in width and 18 feet in length, except that compact parking spaces may be not less than 8 feet in width and 15 feet in length, provided that not more than 30 percent of the parking spaces in a parking area are compact parking spaces.

All parking spaces shall be designed so that no part of any vehicle will extend over any lot line... All angled parking must have a parking envelope that is nine feet by 18 feet within each angled parking space.

All parking spaces shall be perpendicular, angled, parallel or curvilinear to the vehicle access aisle.

Vehicle access aisles that are not adjacent to parking spaces, shall not exceed a grade of ten percent... The minimum travelway width for two-way access aisles shall be 20 feet... one-way access aisles shall be 12 feet...

Entrances to parking areas from public streets or private roads shall be designed and constructed in accordance with Virginia Department of Transportation standards.

Loading spaces shall be a minimum of 12 feet in width, 14½ feet in clearance height and a length sufficient to accommodate the largest delivery trucks... but in no case will such length be less than 25 feet.

All loading and unloading berths shall be surfaced with a bituminous or other dust free surface.

Dumpster pads shall be concrete... the length of a concrete pad shall be no less than eight feet beyond the front of the dumpster.

These parking, stacking and loading regulations shall apply to: (1) each new use or structure approved after the date of adoption... and (2) each change or intensification of any use that necessitates additional parking...

All parking areas having four or more spaces... shall satisfy the minimum specifications for parking area design required in section 4.12.15.

The sale, repair, dismantling or servicing of any vehicle or equipment; the storage of materials... No major recreational equipment shall be used for living... No truck with a gross vehicle weight of 12,000 pounds or major recreational equipment shall be parked in any residential district other than the rural areas (RA) zoning district... No inoperable vehicle shall be parked or stored on a parcel... except within a fully enclosed building...
