Bed and breakfast inns (B&Bs) are subject to the requirements of this Section.
B&Bs allowable in zoning districts per Article II; Site must conform to district standards; Exterior appearance single-family residential; Services limited to rental of bedrooms and breakfast; One on-site sign not to exceed 4 sq ft; On-site parking per County Code.
Camping and campgrounds on private property are subject to the requirements of this section.
A child day-care center shall require approval of a Use Permit in compliance with Chapter 22.48
Small and large family day-care homes allowed within any single-family residence in agricultural or residential zones; Child day-care centers require Use Permit; Six-foot high fence required; No swimming pools/spas after establishment.
Cottage industries shall be limited to activities involving the design, manufacture, and sale of the following products and services
Use Permit required; Limited to specific activities; No noise audible beyond property line; Employees limited by review authority.
This Section provides for the creation and protection of floating home marinas
At least 50% open water; Minimum distance between floating homes 6 ft (10 ft if >1 story); Fairway width 35 ft; Max 10 vessels per acre.
This Section provides standards for the floating homes that may be located within floating home marinas.
Height 16 ft from water line; Length 46 ft; Width 20 ft; Floor area of any story above lowest shall not exceed 80% of story below; Mooring requirements.
The standards of this Section shall apply to Single Room Occupancy residential structures (SROs).
Density up to 30 dwelling units per acre; Design Review required; Rents limited to affordable housing.
This section establishes standards for the County review of homeless shelters, in conformance with State law.
A homeless shelter shall not provide more than a maximum of 40 beds or serve 40 persons total. The number of parking spaces required on-site for residents shall be based on 25% of the total beds and staff parking shall be the total number of beds divided by ten.
The following provisions allow for home occupations that are secondary to a residential use, and compatible with surrounding uses.
A business license shall be obtained/posted in compliance with Title 5, Chapter 5.54 (Business Licenses) of the County Code for home occupations, which are allowed as accessory uses in all residential zoning districts.
This Section applies to areas set aside for mobile home parks
Minimum site area: Ten contiguous acres. Maximum density: ... shall not exceed ten mobile homes of 750 square feet or less in gross floor area per acre or eight mobile homes of more than 750 square feet in gross floor area per acre; or a combination of both. Parking: two parking spaces for each mobile home lot. Setbacks: at least 25 feet from all property lines and streets or public rights-of-way. Height: Mobile homes 15 feet; Accessory structures 15 feet; Service facilities 30 feet.
Non-agricultural uses may be allowed as a principally permitted land use in the following zoning districts: A2, A3 to A60, ARP, C-ARP, C-APZ, O-A, and C-OA, and as allowed by Articles II and V subject to the requirements of this section.
