Signage
- Billboard prohibition
Billboards and other outdoor advertising signs, as defined in this chapter, are not permitted in any zone.
- LED sign restrictions
LED signs are permitted as follows: Freestanding signs for fueling service stations are permitted to use LEDs to display the current price of gasoline only. The LEDs shall be monochromatic, utilizing a dark background with the prices lit in a single color. The area of the LED portion of the sign shall not exceed thirty-five (35) square feet. Other LED signage shall be permitted only by review and approval by the planning commission.
Rotating, flashing, scintillating signs and any other signs indicating motion or change of light intensity.
- Street address sign requirement
Business and professional office buildings shall be required to erect and maintain a street address sign in close proximity to the main street entrance of the building. Each sign shall have numbers of not less than four (4) inches in height and shall not exceed a total area of two (2) square feet.
