  • Affordable rent requirement

    Second units, and both units of a two-unit development, if rented, shall only be rented at an affordable rent for lower-income households ... for a minimum of thirty (30) years.

    Each primary dwelling unit on a lot must have its own direct utility connection to the utility/public service provider.

    Sites without an existing mature tree must provide at least two (2) twenty-four (24) inch box trees within the front yard setback or open space area.

  • Parking reduction near transit

    Each new primary dwelling unit must have at least one off-street parking space per unit unless the lot is located within one-half mile walking distance of a corridor with fixed route bus service with service intervals no longer than fifteen (15) minutes during peak commute hours, or a major transit stop.

    No non-residential use is permitted on the lot.
