  • Helicopter landing prohibition

    Helicopter landings are generally not permitted in the City of Williamsburg.

  • Repeated helicopter landings and departures on the same parcel of land may occur, in all districts, only with the issuance of a special use permit.

  • Single landing allowed districts

    A single landing and departure of a non-commercial helicopter for personal use may be made in the B-2 Corridor Business District, the ED Economic Development District and ED-2 Economic Development District, and the MS Museum Support District, so long as said landing and departure is made in compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration regulations.

Except as otherwise provided in section 21-257.4, and the provisions of this section, helicopter landings are generally not permitted in the City of Williamsburg.
