From the ordinance
A landscape area adjoining all side property lines shall be provided which is at least 15 feet in width. Along the side property lines, such landscape area may be reduced to a minimum of ten feet in width or five percent of the average lot depth, whichever is greater, on lots with less than 10,000 square feet which were recorded or legally in existence prior to March 27, 1989. A landscape area adjoining all rear property lines shall be provided which is at least 15 feet in width.
