Signage

• Maximum auction sign area4 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  Auction signs which do not exceed four (4) square feet to advertise an on-or off-site auction to be conducted.

• Maximum combined banner sign area60 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  A maximum of two (2) banner signs, provided such signs shall not exceed sixty (60) square feet in combined sign area.

• Maximum on-site contractor sign area32 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  One (1) on-site contractor sign not exceeding thirty-two (32) square feet in area

• Maximum directional sign area6 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  Directional signs not exceeding six (6) square feet in area.

  Nameplate, which does not exceed two (2) square feet in area to identify the owner or occupant of a dwelling or building.

  In agriculture or residential districts, no signs shall be in excess of six (6) square feet and no more than two (2) such signs shall be located on any single lot

  Security and warning signs, such as no hunting, no trespassing and warning signs used by a private landowner, which do not exceed two (2) square feet.
