Signage
Any portable sign except permitted temporary signs and banner signs; any sign or illumination that causes direct glare; any sign in motion; any sign with flashing or intermittent lights; any sign attached to a tree, utility pole or other unapproved supporting structure; any sign imitating an official traffic sign; strings of light bulbs used to attract attention.
From the ordinance
The following signs are prohibited in any zoning district and in any area of the county: (1) Any portable sign except permitted temporary signs and banner signs. (2) Any sign or illumination that causes any direct glare into or upon any building other than the building to which the sign may be related. (3) Any sign of which all or any part is in motion by any means... (4) Any sign, electronic or digital display, with flashing or intermittent lights... (5) Any sign that is attached to a tree, utility pole or other unapproved supporting structure... (6) Which imitates an official traffic sign or signal... (8) Which contains or consists of strings of light bulbs, not part of a decorative display but used as a means of attracting attention.
