Parking

  • Handicapped parking space ratio1 per 25 spaces

    For each 25 off-street parking spaces, there shall be one off-street parking space for handicapped persons.

    Any lights used to illuminate said parking areas shall be arranged as to direct light down and to reflect the light away from adjoining premises.

  • Parking surface requirement

    Every parcel of land hereafter used as a public parking area shall be surfaced with gravel, stone, asphalt, or concrete or other approved all-weather surface.

  • Shared parking agreement required

    Before such spaces are approved for use, a written agreement shall be executed by the parties concerned and filed with the Zoning Administrator to assure the continued use of the shared parking agreement.

Each parking space shall be a minimum of nine feet wide and 20 feet long; except for parallel spaces which shall be nine feet wide and 22 feet long. For each 25 off-street parking spaces, there shall be one off-street parking space for handicapped persons.
