Landscaping & trees

  • Dead plant removal timeframe30 days

    Any dead or dying plants shall be removed within 30 days of notification by the Administrator.

  • Grade change requiring protective structures6 in

    Where grade changes in excess of 6 inches from the existing natural grade level are necessary, permanent protective structures such as tree wells or walls shall be installed.

  • Minimum caliper for replacement trees3 in

    No replacement tree shall have a caliper of less than 3 inches, measured 6 inches from the ground, at the time of planting.

  • Maximum species percentage in buffers with >20 trees30 pct

    For buffers in which more than 20 trees are required, no individual species shall comprise more than 30% of the total number of plants required within the buffer.

  • Tree protection fence distance from dripline5 ft

    Trees to be preserved shall be enclosed by a temporary fence or barrier located 5 ft. outside of their dripline.
