• Landscape buffer width between parking lot and abutting property10 ft

  a landscaping strip of at least 10 ft. in width

• Landscape islands as percentage of parking area10 pct

  Landscape parking islands shall be at least 10% of the parking area.

• Parking lot size for island frequency100 spaces

  If the total size of the parking lot exceeds 100 total parking spaces, there shall be one island for every other double-row of parking.

• Minimum width of planting island8 ft

  Planting islands shall have a minimum width of 8 ft.

• Parking lot size requiring islands50 spaces

  Landscaped planting islands shall be provided in the interior of the following types of parking lots: (i) The total size of the parking lot exceeds 50 total parking spaces.

• Shrubs per 40 ft of property line5 shrubs

  A minimum of 5 shrubs for each 40 ft. of contiguous property line

• Deciduous shade trees per 40 ft of property line1 trees

  A minimum of 1 deciduous shade tree for each 40 ft. of contiguous property line

• Minimum trees per 5 parking spaces1 trees

  A minimum of 1 tree shall be provided for each 5 spaces of required parking.
