  • All land disturbing activities, use, development, and redevelopment of land, and clearing of live vegetation are prohibited within Chesapeake Bay Preservation Areas and associated buffer, except as permitted.

    Where the land contiguous to RPAs is not an RMA as defined above, the 100-foot area contiguous to the RPA is classified as RMA.

  • Resource Protection Area buffer width100 ft

    A vegetated buffer area no less than 100 feet in width located adjacent to and landward of the components listed in subsections (a) through (d) and along both sides of any water body with perennial flow.
