- Governmental use parking credit
Zoning administrator may grant parking credits to governmental uses owned/leased by City of Hampton, based on criteria including health/safety, comprehensive plan, pedestrian access, stormwater, off-site parking, shared parking.
- Mixed-use ground floor retail/commercial credit
In mixed-use districts, first 3,000 sqft of pedestrian oriented ground floor commercial retail space exempt from minimum parking calculation.
- Off-site parking credit
Off-site parking within 500 ft of public pedestrian entry may count if owned/controlled by public entity or private with shared parking agreement, and safe pedestrian access provided.

Any land use which is eligible for any of the shared parking and parking credits identified in this section may apply these credits in a cumulative fashion.
