- As-built survey required
Prior to issuance of an occupancy permit, a certified "as-built" survey shall be provided to the Director of Planning/Zoning Administrator upon completion of site improvements.
- Site plan approval expiration5 years
Final approval of any site plan (with the exception of erosion and sediment control plans) submitted under the provisions of this ordinance shall expire five (5) years after the date of such approval in accordance with the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, thereafter requiring re-submittal for approval.

The period of the initial bond (surety) agreement shall be not less than twelve (12) months from its effective date.
- Maintenance bond percentage10 pct
The maintenance (defect) shall be in an amount and form satisfactory to the City Attorney but in no instance shall be less than ten (10) percent of the total construction cost of the improvements subject to the bond.
