In the A-L, A-R and RVC districts: A conditional use permit shall be required for establishing a new place of religious assembly.
- Expansion thresholds
A conditional use permit shall be required for the expansion of an existing place of religious assembly only when the expansion exceeds one or more of the following criteria: a. The total gross floor area of the expansion itself exceeds 7,500 square feet; b. The gross floor area of the expansion is more than 100 percent of the existing gross floor area; and c. The expansion includes an expansion of the principal worship area of more than 50 percent of the existing seating.
