  • Max inoperative vehicles1 vehicles

    No more than one (1) inoperative motor vehicle, trailer or semitrailer... shall be kept outside a completely enclosed building on any property zoned for residential or commercial purposes.

  • Max storage under car cover6 months

    Any inoperative vehicle stored under a car cover shall not be maintained on the same lot for more than six (6) months in a twelve-month period.

  • No storage in required parking or yards

    In no case shall any inoperative vehicles be stored in the required parking spaces for the use or in any required yard adjoining a public street.

  • Screening required

    Such inoperative vehicle must be fully screened year-round from public view by plantings, fencing or a professionally manufactured car cover.

No more than one (1) inoperative motor vehicle, trailer or semitrailer, as defined by Code of Virginia § 46.1-1, which is inoperative, shall be kept outside a completely enclosed building on any property zoned for residential or commercial purposes.
