The maximum residential densities allowable within residential subdivisions shall be in accordance with the provisions of the zoning district and guided by the Comprehensive Plan and the Future Land Use Map. In every Subdivision of over five lots, the Board of Supervisors may require the platting and dedication to the governing body, or to a homeowner's association, of suitable and adequate open space for recreation.
