Lighting

WCF shall not be artificially illuminated, directly or indirectly, except as may be required by state or federal law, and except for security and safety lighting of equipment buildings if such lighting is appropriately down shielded to keep light within the boundaries of the site; and such illumination of the WCF as may be required by the FAA or other applicable authority installed in a manner to minimize impacts on adjacent residences.
Noise

No sound emissions such as alarms, bells, buzzers or the like are permitted.
Other
- Removal of abandoned WCF
Any WCF that is not operated for a continuous period of 12 months or such lesser time if the town is so advised by the provider or landowner, shall be considered abandoned, and the owner of such WCF shall remove same within 90 days of notice to the town that the WCF is abandoned.
- Aesthetic compatibility
WCF shall be designed so as to be compatible with the existing structures and surroundings to the extent feasible, including placement in a location which is consistent with proper functioning of the WCF, the use of compatible or neutral colors, or stealth technology.
- Maximum ancillary structure floor area25 pct
Except where otherwise specified, the total floor area occupied by any ancillary structure(s), in the aggregate, cannot exceed 25 percent of the gross floor area of the building or development of which such use is a part.
- Collocation requirement
All applicants for WCF with support structures are required to execute a statement upon filing the application agreeing to allow collocation of other WCF providers. The host WCF shall be constructed to accommodate two additional antenna arrays and their equipment facilities.
- Landscape strip width6 ft
All WCF subject to this section shall contain a permanent six-foot landscape strip parallel with all sides of the primary use area and outside of the opaque fence but within the lease area.

An eight-foot opaque fence shall be constructed, finished side facing outward, around the primary use area to provide screening and a background for required landscaping within the six-foot landscape strip.

Dead or diseased vegetation shall be replaced within 30 days of notice by the town to the owner of the WCF or within 45 days of notice to the landowner of the dead or diseased vegetation.

Each landscape strip shall also be planted with evergreen shrubs of 30 inches height at planting, with a maximum spacing of 48 inches on center and which will grow to a minimum height of 60 inches at maturity.
- Structural integrity standard
WCF with support structures shall be constructed to the Electronic Industries Association/Telecommunications Industries Association (EIA/TIA) 222 Revision F Standard entitled 'Structural Standards for Steel Antennas Towers and Antenna Supporting Structures' (or equivalent), as it may be updated or amended. WCF with support structure shall be capable of supporting at least two additional antenna arrays.
- Maximum duration of temporary WCF90 days
Temporary WCF for a term not to exceed 90 days are permitted by administrative review, and in case of emergency shall be given expedited review.
- Tree planting requirements
The landscape strip on each side of the primary use area shall be planted with two trees of a two-inch caliper which will grow to a spacing of 15 feet which will grow to a minimum 20 feet in height at maturity.
