The Dumfries Planned Mixed Use District is intended to implement the general purpose, intent, goals, objectives, policies, and action strategies of the comprehensive plan and the purposes of zoning set forth in Code of Virginia, § 15.2-2283, by promoting mixed residential and commercial development according to a detailed plan.
