A family day care home shall meet the following requirements: The facilities and operation shall comply with any and all requirements of the Virginia Department of Social Services. The operation shall care for either children under 13 years of age or adults, but shall not care for both at the same time. Health department approval of water and sewage disposal shall be submitted prior to issuance of a zoning or occupancy permit.
