The minimum setback requirement from the base of the tower to any residential structure on an adjoining lot shall be at least equal to 40 percent of the height of the tower, measured from the closest structural member of the tower (excluding guy lines).

An amateur radio tower shall be considered as an accessory structure and shall comply with the minimum setback requirements for the respective zoning district.
