Environmental

Annual environmental audit
During the operating life of the landfill, an annual environmental audit shall be prepared by a qualified independent contractor to determine compliance with all conditions of the special use permit and all other requirements for the operation of the landfill.

Other

Buffer yard type
A Type D buffer yard shall be provided in accordance with section [30-92].
Environmental Quality compliance
The site development and operations shall be in accordance with all of the regulations of the Virginia Department Environmental Quality include special conditions of any landfill permit.
Master plan required
In addition to the application requirements for a conditional use permit, a master plan of the proposed development and use of the site shall be submitted for consideration.

Minimum parcel size for an industrial or construction debris landfill = 20 acres. Minimum parcel size for a sanitary landfill = 100 acres. A Type D buffer yard shall be provided in accordance with section [30-92].
