- Screening consideration
In considering a special use permit request for a construction yard, in addition to the above standards and the general standards contained in section [30-19] of this ordinance, the board of zoning appeals may consider and set standards for the following: a. The provisions for screening of any vehicles, equipment, materials and storage yard, and screening and buffering, in accordance with section 5-400, of the entire construction yard. b. The maximum height of any structure and any additional setback requirements necessary to compensate for any increased height. c. Specific measures to control dust on the site. d. Specific levels of noise permitted on the site, as measured at adjacent property lines. e. Limit the hours of operation. f. The maintenance and repair of all vehicles and equipment shall be conducted within an enclosed building.
