  • First floor elevation requirement6 in

    The elevation of the first floor on new construction must be the same or within six inches of the average of the prevailing standard of neighborhood buildings but must meet the required floodplain elevation.

  • Minimum porch depth6 ft

    Front porches must have a minimum depth of six feet.

  • Minimum porch width80 pct

    Porches must be constructed on the front of the house and must cover at least 80 percent of the building facade's width.

  • Asphalt siding, vertical plywood siding, aluminum siding. Exposed concrete block above foundation level. Corrugated metal, except for roof applications. Flush doors (hollow or solid core).

  • Minimum roof pitch8 ratio

    Where there is no prevailing standard, roof pitch should be no less than 8:12.

  • Underground utilities required

    Upon installation of utility access lines, such lines shall be installed underground.
