Signage

• Attached sign shall not extend above roof line

  An attached sign shall not extend above the roof line of the building or structure to which it is attached.

• Awning sign minimum clearance above sidewalk8 ft

  Awning signs shall be securely attached to a building, must be at least eight feet above the sidewalk

• Maximum directional signs per curb cutGrading (cut & fill)Reshaping land by removing earth (cut) or adding it (fill), often capped by volume.2 count

  no more than one sign per one-way curb cut and two directional signs per two-way curb cut.

• Directional sign minimum distance from public right-of-way3 ft

  A directional sign shall be located adjacent to curb cuts, at least three feet from the public right-of-way

• Freestanding signs must be in landscaped area

  Freestanding signs shall be located within a landscaped area which includes vegetative materials such as shrubs, trees, or flowering plants.

• Freestanding sign maximum heightMaximum heightThe tallest a building may be, given in feet, in storeys, or both — whichever binds first.8 ft

  Freestanding signs shall have a maximum height of eight feet.

• Freestanding sign minimum setbackSetbackThe distance a building must be held back from a lot line. from right-of-way (ROW >= 50 ft)10 ft

  Freestanding signs shall be located a minimum distance of ten feet from the edge of any public right-of-way if the public right-of-way is 50 feet or more in width.
