Design

  • MADU design elements

    A MADU shall be constructed to include the following design elements: cladding and trim, windows and doors, mechanical equipment, and living area extensions as specified.

From the ordinance

A minimum side and rear setback of four feet shall be provided for new one-story ADUs and MADUs under 16 feet in height. For ADUs over 16 feet in height, the side and rear setback shall follow the underlying zone applicable to the primary dwelling.
