Design
- Color restriction
Facilities shall not be of a bright, shiny or glare-reflective finish. Colors and designs must be integrated and compatible with existing on-site and surrounding buildings and/or uses in the area.
Height
No tower or antenna of any wireless telecommunications facility shall exceed the zone height limit of the zone upon which the wireless telecommunications facility is located, unless otherwise approved pursuant to Section 17.73.070.
Noise

Within residential zones and properties adjacent to residential zones, soundproofing measures shall be used to reduce noise caused by the operation of a wireless telecommunications facility and all accessory equipment to a level which would have a no-net increase in ambient noise level as measured from the property line of any residential property.

- Permit term10 years

- Screening required
Landscaping or other screening shall be placed so that the antenna and any other aboveground structure is screened from public view.
- Undergrounding required
If feasible, the base station and all wires and cables necessary for the operation of a facility shall be placed underground so that the antenna is the only portion of the facility that is above ground.
Setback
All facilities (including all related accessory cabinet(s)) shall meet the setback requirements of the underlying zoning district. In no case shall any portion of a facility be located in a defined front yard or side yard.
Signage
Wireless telecommunications facilities shall not bear any signs or advertising devices other than certification, warning, or other required seals or required signage.

The provisions in this chapter shall apply to all permit applications to install, operate or change, including, without limitation, to collocate, modify, replace or remove, any new or existing wireless tower or base station within the city.
