- Bathroom access requirement
If the JADU does not have its own bathroom, it must have a separate access to the primary dwelling.
- Efficiency kitchen required
The JADU shall include an efficiency kitchen, which shall include all of the following: a. A cooking facility with appliances and a sink. b. A food preparation counter and storage cabinets.

A JADU must be constructed within the walls of the proposed or existing single-family dwelling, which shall include an attached garage.
