The following exceptions to the height and setback regulations of this chapter shall be permitted: A. Chimneys, flues, vents, and similar architectural elements may project into required setbacks, provided they do not exceed 24 inches in width or depth. B. Cornices, eaves, and similar architectural features may project into required setbacks, provided they do not exceed 24 inches. C. Uncovered stairs, landings, and ramps may project into required front and street-side setbacks, provided they do not exceed 42 inches in height above grade. D. Porches, balconies, and decks that are unenclosed and do not exceed 30 inches in height above grade may project into required setbacks, provided they do not exceed 10 feet in depth.
