Sec. 1201.00 — Conflict with other laws.#

Wherever the requirements of these regulations are at variance with the requirements of any other lawfully adopted statutes, rules, regulations, or ordinances, the most restrictive or that imposing the higher standards, shall govern.

Sec. 1202.00 — Validity.#

Each phrase, sentence, paragraph, section, or other provision of these regulations is severable from all other such phrases, sentences, paragraphs, sections, and provisions. Should any phrase, sentence, paragraph, section or provision of these regulations be declared by the courts to be unconstitutional or invalid, such declaration shall not affect any other portion or provision of these regulations.

Sec. 1203.00 — Repealed resolutions and ordinances.#

These regulations are a comprehensive enactment of all of the resolutions and ordinances of the Buena Vista City Council relating to zoning and subdivision regulations. All prior ordinances affecting zoning and subdivision regulations are hereby repealed.

Sec. 1204.00 — Effective date.#

These regulations shall take effect and be in force from and after 12:01 a.m., July 26, 1985. A certified copy of the foregoing Land Development Regulations of the City of Buena Vista shall be filed in the office of the administrator and in the office of the clerk of the City of Buena Vista, Virginia.
