- Any use permitted in the B-1 central business district, except those uses provided in subsection 90-187(1).

- Retail establishments exceeding 50,000 square feet.
- Apartments.
- Exceptions for height up to 55 feet for non-livable space for lots located outside the area designated as the Town of Woodstock Historic District, subject to special permit approval.

All property lines in the B-2 highway commercial district abutting a residential district shall be appropriately screened, fenced, walled or enclosed with a suitable enclosure of a minimum height of four feet, unless natural vegetation of wooded areas are used as buffer strips.

five-foot sidewalks will be required if a grass strip is to be provided or six-foot sidewalks will be required if no grass strip is to be provided, on both sides of the street on new street construction.
