From the ordinance
Minimum contiguous fenced acreage is five acres with a minimum of two fenced acres per horse. Horses must be stabled or penned no closer than 300 feet of the residence of any other person and such horses may be permitted to graze no closer than 100 feet from the residence or any other person. Owner shall keep the pasture and barn cleaned so as to prevent accumulation of manure. By special use permit, town council may place such other conditions upon such keeping and grazing of horses deemed necessary to prevent the creation of a nuisance and/or disturbance to the reasonable peace and comfort of neighboring residents as well as other requirements per the special use permit process.
