General provisions

40 rules that bind every district rather than one — sign regulations, parking, floodplain and the rest of the code’s citywide chapters.

Chapter 16-2, Landscaping46 standards

In single-family detached, single-family detached cluster, two-family duplex residential development, irrigated turf grass shall be limited to 25 percent (25%) of the total combined yard area not to exceed a maximum of one thousand five hundred (1500) square feet on a lot.

Division 6, Sec. 16-2-610 through 16-2-64021 standards

All exterior lighting shall conform to the lighting standards set forth in this Division.

Landscaping Standards10 standards

All landscaped areas shall consist of one hundred percent (100%) ground coverage... A minimum of fifty percent (50%) of the landscape area shall be covered by living plants at maturity.

Landscaping maintenance10 standards

For landscape areas that are presently bare and susceptible to erosion and runoff, the property owner shall be required to revegetate the area.

Ord. 742-22, §314 standards

If the outdoor storage area is covered, then the covering shall be designed to be complementary to the primary structure on the site. Goods stored in an outdoor storage area shall be limited to storage of materials associated with the business on the lot and shall be displayed for the purpose of sale, rental or lease, business of vehicle storage or storage of businesses' vehicles and equipment. No materials may be stored in areas intended for vehicular or pedestrian circulation including emergency access. Outdoor Storage for construction shall be allowed on a temporary basis and shall be removed within thirty (30) days of the last Certificate of Occupancy being issued within the filing and the site shall be restored to its original state.

Recreational Vehicle Park Regulations (Section 16-2-xxx)4 standards

If a tent area will be provided in the park, toilets and showers shall be required. Guest stays in tents shall be limited to no more than ten (10) days per year unless approved by the conditional use permit process. Vans which have been modified as campers, commercial tractor-trailers and sleeping in other vehicles not designed as a recreational vehicle shall not be permitted. No blocking or skirting of RVs is permitted. No outdoor storage by park guests is permitted.

Sec. 16-2-210 (Definitions)4 standards

Detention facilities ... are not allowed in any zoning district. For purposes of calculating residential density, each ADU shall count as one-half (½) dwelling unit. Setbacks shall be unobstructed ... except cornices, eaves, or similar architectural features may extend into a required setback not more than two (2) feet.

Sec. 16-2-3103 standards

A site plan shall be required for all permitted and conditional uses located in all zoning districts with the exception of individual, detached single-family and two-family dwelling units.

Sec. 16-2-330(g)1 standards

If an approved conditional use is not in substantial operation within two (2) years after the date of the Board of Trustees' approval, the Board of Trustees may initiate proceedings to review the conditional use.

Sec. 16-2-3409 standards

Sec. 16-2-475(c)-(f)1 standards

Accessory buildings, structures and uses, as defined in Section 16-2-210, are allowed in all zone districts. No land, building or structure shall be used for any purpose other than as provided for among the uses listed in the zoning district.
