Signage
- Sign area measurement
Sign area includes the area within a perimeter enclosing the limits of lettering, writing, representation, emblem, figure, character and lighted surface (collectively 'message'), but excludes essential sign structure, foundations or supports. For double-sided signs with back-to-back display surfaces, the sign area shall be the message area of one (1) side. For all other multiple-face (i.e., more than one-sided) signs, the sign area shall be the total of the message area of all faces. If the sign consists of more than one (1) section or module, the areas of all sections and modules shall be included in calculating the total sign area.
