From the ordinance

Areas proposed for subdivision in floodplains, as defined by Zoning Code Section 7-9-113, shall comply with the following: ... All subdivision proposals shall have public utilities and facilities such as sewer, gas, electrical and water systems located and constructed to minimize flood damage... Base flood elevation data shall be provided for subdivision proposals and other development proposed within the floodplain.
