Dedications may be required for streets, alleys, trails, flood-control facilities, parks, easements, transit facilities, and accessways to shorelines.
From the ordinance
The Subdivision Committee may require the dedication to the public, to the County of Orange or to such other public agency as may be appropriate (of) all real property (or interest therein) in fee or an easement interest, both on or off site required for public use or benefit, including, but not limited to: local streets, arterial highways, transportation corridors, alleys, trails, paths, pedestrian ways, flood-control facilities, parks, easements for landscaping maintenance, public utility easements, public transit facilities, other public easements, accessways to ocean shoreline, bay shoreline, lakes, reservoirs, rivers, or streams.
