Size of allowable sign area shall not exceed two (2) square feet for each lineal foot of structure frontage measured on only one (1) frontage facing a street or parking lot unless otherwise specified by this Section.

When lighted, all signs shall be illuminated by continuous, non-pulsating, shielded and stationary light sources, using light fixtures, which direct external light sources at the sign so as to illuminate only the sign face. Any external spot or flood lighting shall be arranged so that the light source is screened from direct view. Internally illuminated "cabinet" signs are prohibited. Internally illuminated signage shall be allowed only in Community Regions and limited to individually lit channel letters. Internally illuminated monument signs may also be approved within Community Regions. Signs may be lit only during those hours that the business being advertised is open for business.
