- Only where hotel/motel permitted
A timeshare project shall be permissible only in such zones and at the locations therein where a hotel, motel or similar visitor accommodation use would be permitted.

All timeshare projects shall be subject to the provisions of Chapter 5.40 of the Monterey County Code (Uniform Transient Occupancy Tax Ordinance of the County of Monterey).
