Signage

• Maximum clustered residential sign area per frontageFrontageThe length of a lot line that touches a public street.35 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  The signs shall not exceed thirty-five (35) square feet in the aggregate per street frontage, except as stated in subparagraph f, below.

• Maximum clustered residential sign heightMaximum heightThe tallest a building may be, given in feet, in storeys, or both — whichever binds first.6 ft

  The height may not exceed six feet if freestanding, or if attached to a structure, the sign may not be higher than the roof line or parapet of the wall.

• Maximum clustered residential signs per street frontageFrontageThe length of a lot line that touches a public street.1 signs

  There shall be no more than one sign per street frontage or two signs if the project has only one street frontage.

• Maximum construction sign area24 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  The signs shall not exceed in the aggregate twenty-four (24) square feet in area.

• Maximum construction sign heightMaximum heightThe tallest a building may be, given in feet, in storeys, or both — whichever binds first.6 ft

  The height may not exceed six feet if freestanding, or if attached to a structure, the sign may not be higher than the roof line or parapet of the wall.

• Maximum construction signs per lot2 signs

  There shall be no more than two temporary construction signs per lot.

  Nameplates and street address signs not exceeding, in the aggregate per parcel, or per residential unit when attached to or freestanding adjacent to the residential unit, four square feet.

  If such a sign is freestanding, then the height limit is six feet.

  For non-residential uses, signs not over twenty (20) square feet in the aggregate and appurtenant to any permitted use except for those signs provided in Section 21.60.080(B) subsections 1 and 2.

• Maximum real estate sign area7 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  The sign area, in the aggregate, may not exceed seven square feet.
