Signage

• Maximum appurtenant sign area for non-residential uses24 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  One sign of up to twenty-four (24) square feet is allowed.

• Maximum appurtenant sign area with administrative permit75 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  An additional two signs (single or double-faced), with a maximum display area of up to seventy-five (75) square feet in the aggregate may be allowed subject to an Administrative Permit.

• Maximum clustered residential sign area per frontageFrontageThe length of a lot line that touches a public street.35 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  The signs shall not exceed thirty-five (35) square feet in the aggregate per street frontage, except as stated in subparagraph f, below.

  There shall be no more than two temporary construction signs per lot.

  Nameplates and street address signs not exceeding, in the aggregate per parcel, or per residential unit when attached to or freestanding adjacent to the residential unit, four square feet.

  If such a sign is freestanding, then the height limit is six feet.
