  • Anchoring system

    Manufactured homes shall be securely fastened to an adequately anchored foundation system to resist partial collapse and lateral movement.

  • Elevation certification

    Upon completion, the elevation of the lowest floor including basement shall be certified by a registered professional engineer or surveyor and verified by the County Building Inspector.

  • For manufactured homes in existing parks not subject to the above, the chassis shall be supported by reinforced piers or other foundation elements of at least equivalent strength that are no less than 36 inches in height above grade.

  • Elevation on permanent foundation

    All manufactured homes placed or substantially improved within Zones A, AO, AH, and AE on sites outside of a manufactured home park, in a new park, expansion, or on a substantially damaged site shall be elevated on a permanent foundation so that the lowest floor is at or above the base flood elevation.

All manufactured homes that are placed or substantially improved within Zones A, AO, AH, and AE on the County's Flood Insurance Rate Map ... shall be elevated on a permanent foundation so that the lowest floor of the manufactured home is elevated to or above the base flood elevation and be securely fastened to an adequately anchored foundation system.
