Signage
- Sign permit expiration180 days
A Sign Permit or Temporary Sign Permit shall expire if the sign is not erected or installed within 180 days of the date of approval, unless the Director grants an extension.
- Sign review required for certain signs
Sign Review shall be required for the following types of signs: 1. Signs that exceed the size or height limits for exempt signs; 2. Signs that are proposed to be illuminated; 3. Signs that are proposed to be animated or have moving parts; 4. Signs that are proposed to be located in a designated scenic corridor or historic district; 5. Any other sign that is determined by the Director to require Sign Review.

This Chapter shall apply to all signs proposed to be erected, installed, modified, or maintained in the unincorporated areas of Marin County, except as otherwise exempted by this Development Code.
