Exemptions include skylights, flush-mounted solar panels, chimneys, satellite dishes, ground-mounted AC units, wall-mounted AC units, replacement of siding/roofing/windows/doors, exterior painting, interior remodels, atrium enclosures, wood fences up to 6 feet, decks/patios up to 18 inches, landscape improvements, ground-mounted solar panels up to 4 feet, and other minor work.

Allowable land uses shall be limited to the following on properties within the R1:BLV zoning district... Height limit for Eichler-design residences: 15 feet, six inches... Allowable Floor Area Ratio (FAR): 30 percent (0.30) of lot area is permitted. Minimum lot area required: 7,500 square feet.
