- Building permit required for new structures or electrical service
Any new structure or any new electrical service connection shall require a building permit unless specifically exempted by the California Building Standards Code.

The Director may require the submission of a performance bond or other surety measures, in compliance with Public Works Performance Guarantee requirements, to ensure that any temporary facilities or structures used will be removed from the site within a reasonable time following the event, the property will be cleaned of debris, litter, or any other evidence of the temporary event upon completion or removal of the event, restored to the former condition, and shall continue to be used in compliance with this chapter.
- Screening may be required for outdoor sales areas
The Director may require temporary outdoor sales areas to be screened from adjoining public rights-of-way by temporary decorative walls, fences, or landscaping.
- Security measures required
Security and safety measures shall be provided in compliance with the requirements of the Police Chief.
- Site restoration within days5 days
The subject site shall be restored to its original condition within five days from the date of termination of the permit.
- Waste collection and disposal
Provisions shall be made for solid waste collection, recycling or disposal, in compliance with the requirements of the Director.
Parking
- Temporary parking requirements
Adequate temporary parking facilities, pedestrian and vehicular circulation, including vehicular ingress and egress and public transportation shall be provided in compliance with the requirements of the Director. The Director may require parking areas to be surfaced with crushed rock or other surfaces.
