Fencing & walls

  • The use of barbed wire, chain link, rope, electrified fence, glass, razor wire fence, or similar materials in conjunction with a fence or wall, or by itself within any zoning district, is prohibited except for the following cases: chain link is allowed for tennis courts or similar recreational facilities, pet enclosures of 200 square feet or less, industrial uses, utility companies, or in areas where there is a safety hazard. If chain link is used it shall be painted or coated in a dark green, brown, or black color.

  • Retaining wall treatment

    All retaining walls visible from off-site shall be made of split face block, faced with rock, or similarly treated to be attractive.
